Russell Memorial Weekend
The annual traditional festival in memory of Micho Russell is held in Doolin on the last weekend in February. The weekend is celebrated with traditional music concerts in the community hall on Friday and Saturday and Set-dancing on sunday .. with lots of trad. sessions in all the pubs over the weekend.

Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival
The Lisdoonvarna matchmaking festival, one of Ireland’s oldest traditional Festival takes place every September. The festival, now over 150 years old, attracts up to 60,000 people from all over the world who come for the music, the dancing and the ‘craic’. Dancing takes place in venues all over the town and in the newly re-opened Spa Wells.
Doolin Harley Fest
The Doolin Harley Fest is an Ovarian Cancer Charity Event. The event runs over the weekend from Friday to Sunday with live bands in the marquee on Friday and Saturday nights. Custom Harley Bike Show on Saturday with some of the finest bikes you will ever see. Burren motorcycle ride-out on Sunday followed by an afternoon of music and dancing in Hotel Doolin’s Marquee.
Burren Peaks Weekend of Walking Festival

Burren Food Fayre Weekend
The Burren Food Fayre weekend will hold its 5th annual food themed event in Lisdoonvarna on the October bank-holiday weekend as part of the Winterage Weekend.
The food fayre showcases the fabulous Burren produce. This festival weekend stretches over two days with food workshops on the Saturday at the Spa Wells from 2-5pm which will include preserving, fermentation and butchering skills as well as a Pop-up Cafe serving tastings of the delicious locally produced food.
On Sunday the free entry food fayre at the Pavillion Lisdoonvarna from 12noon to 5pm.
The event is organized by the Burren Ecotourism Network and will have a focus on the food produced by the Food Fayre members. The Burren Masterchef has a junior and adult section and requires entrants to submit a precooked dish to a panel of judges. The Burren Beilini competition is an internal event for Burren Ecotourism Members.
Burren Winterage Weekend
The Burren Winterage Weekend is carried out to celebrate the unique farming tradition of the Burren, but also to highlight, celebrate and support the broader significance of pastoral farming in the shaping of much of the Irish landscape.
Take part in re-enactments of ancient pastoral traditions and Samhain pursuits, enjoy the songs, stories, heritage and food of the Burren landscape.
